In case of describing any medical research involving human subjects, all the authors are to abide by the provisions of the Declaration of Helsinki. It is expected that all the studies involving people are conducted in accordance with those regulations. As far as the research and experiments on animals are concerned, it is expected that the researchers observe the regulations and guidelines of the Interdisciplinary principles and guidelines for the use of animals in research, testing and education 1 issued by the Animal Research Committee of the New York Academy of Sciences. All the experiments and studies performed on people and animals need to be approved by a relevant ethical committee. A statement of compliance with these rules should be included in the manuscript.
