| Abstract (ENG) | The authors’ attention is on the differences in understanding what lifestyle is. The definition of lifestyle when pertaining to individuals and social groups is discussed. The factors characteristic of health behaviour are presented. The difficulties of maintaining healthseeking behaviour in respective decades of human life are discussed. The focus is on the attempts to relate lifestyle to health made by people of different professions, such as philosophers, poets, or writers. Methods of caring for one’s health as well as different types of passiveness towards health-seeking are characterised. |
| Abstract (PL) | Autorzy zwrócili uwagę na duże zróżnicowanie rozumienia stylu życia. Omówili znaczenie stylu życia w aspekcie jednostki i grupy społecznej. Scharakteryzowali czynniki cechujące zachowania zdrowotne. Podkreślili trudności w realizacji zachowań prozdrowotnych w poszczególnych dekadach życia ludzkiego. Zwrócili uwagę na próby powiązania stylu życia ze zdrowiem podejmowane przez ludzi różnych profesji, myślicieli, poetów, pisarzy).Scharakteryzowali sposoby dbania o zdrowie oraz różne typy bierności wobec działań prozdrowotnych. |
