| Abstract (ENG) | The authors have presented the selected aspects of ADHD. The attention has been paid to the implementation of pharmacology. The therapies enhancing the development of children’s personalities have been characterised. What is more, the significance of treatment for the dominant ADHD-related disorders has been presented. The article brings up the issues of dietary supplementation consisting in applying medications to compensate for the shortage of polyunsaturated fatty acids, mainly omega-3 and omega-6, as well as the supplementation of magnesium and zinc. A lot of attention has been paid to the education of the family and the child with ADHD as well as to the correct approach to the child at school. |
| Abstract (PL) | Autorzy przedstawili wybrane aspekty terapii zespołu ADHD. Zwrócili uwagę na zasady stosowania farmakoterapii, scharakteryzowali terapie wspomagające rozwój osobowości dziecka, podkreślili znaczenie leczenia w odniesieniu do dominującego typu zaburzeń w obrazie ADHD, wspomnieli o dietach suplementacyjnych, polegających na podawaniu preparatów uzupełniających niedobory wielonasyconych kwasów tłuszczowych, głównie omega-3 i omega-6, a także suplementacji magnezu i cynku, dużo uwagi poświęcili edukacji rodziny dziecka z zespołem ADHD, oraz właściwego postępowania w szkole w stosunku do dziecka z tym zespołem. |
